Welcome Dr. Vivian Chidi
Pomerene Medical Group welcomes Vivian Chidi, MD. Dr. Chidi is a gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician who cares for patients with a wide range of digestive and liver conditions.
She brings more than a decade of experience in both hospital and clinic settings, including emergent and high-acuity care, with a focus on helping patients get clear answers and a practical path forward.
“Gastroenterology can feel overwhelming when you do not know what is causing your symptoms,” Dr. Chidi said. “My goal is to listen carefully, explain what we are seeing, and make sure every patient feels supported.”
Training and experience
Dr. Chidi completed medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at UPMC in Pittsburgh, and her gastroenterology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She also completed additional fellowship training in inflammatory bowel disease and interventional endoscopy at Cleveland Clinic.
