Pomerene Hospital Welcomes First Baby of 2026
Baby girl Oaklynn arrives on New Year’s Day!

Millersburg, OH — Pomerene Hospital is pleased to announce the arrival of its first baby of 2026, a baby girl named Oaklynn, born on January 1, 2026, at 2:49 p.m. Oaklynn weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces at birth.
Proud parents Joel and Amy Yoder of Holmesville welcomed their daughter at Pomerene Hospital, marking a joyful beginning to the New Year for their family and the community.
The arrival of the hospital’s first baby of the year is a special tradition at Pomerene. To help celebrate the occasion, the Pomerene Auxiliary presented the family with a commemorative gift that included a rocking horse, diapers, a stuffed animal, a toy, and a Busy Learners Activity Cube.
