Pomerene Welcomes Jodi Swihart & Brayden Chaney

Millersburg, Ohio – Pomerene Hospital is pleased to announce two additions to its care teams in Millersburg: Jodi Swihart, MSN, APRN, FNP, now seeing patients in Family Care, and Brayden Chaney, PA-C, who will join the Internal Medicine team and begin seeing patients in early 2026.


Jodi Swihart, MSN, APRN, FNP — Family Care
Swihart brings 14 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Practitioner serving patients in Wayne County and surrounding communities. She earned her BSN from Malone and her MSN from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. She is now welcoming new and existing patients in Pomerene Family Care in Millersburg. Brayden Chaney, PA-C — Internal Medicine
Chaney is a lifelong Holmes County resident and a West Holmes High School graduate. He completed the Physician Assistant program at Ashland University in 2025.  Chaney will care for patients primarily at Pomerene’s Millersburg  Internal Medicine offices beginning in early 2026. On Sunday, October 5, several Pomerene employees and their family members marched in the 63rd Holmes County Antique Festival Grand Parade through historic downtown Millersburg. The Holmes County Antique Festival is more than a parade. Over its two-day run, the event offers antique markets, arts and crafts, live music, classic car shows, and family-friendly activities. At Pomerene, we believe that being part of our community means showing up, not just in healthcare, but in shared moments and local traditions. We’re proud to walk alongside our neighbors, celebrate our county’s heritage, and show our appreciation to our community. Thank you to every team member who joined us. You made our presence personal.
