Dr. John Andrefsky, board certified through the American Board of Neurology and American Board of Sleep Medicine, has twenty-eight years of experience in Neurology, Vascular Neurology, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Andrefsky is the Medical Director of Neurology at University Hospital Medical Center, as well as Medical Director of Sleep Medicine for the Parma, Elyria, Avon, and Samaritan University Hospital locations. 

Dr. Andrefsky is co-founder of Virtual Medical Network which utilizes telemedicine technology to treat patients with neurological and sleep related disorders. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Andrefsky has published twenty-six peer-reviewed scientific papers and written fourteen book chapters on neurological and sleep related disorders. 

Dr. Andrefsky, a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College, achieved his medical degree from Drexel University. He completed his Neurology residency at Pennsylvania Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania as well as completing his fellowship training in Neurocritical Care at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
