Exercise Specialists

Alicia Scott

Focus: Exercise Specialist 

About: Alicia recently graduated from Cedarville University, majoring in Physical and Health Education. She pursued this career because she loves helping people figure out what they enjoy doing to be active. She is a recent employee at Kinetics but is looking forward to helping people learn and implement living in a healthy style.

Lyndee Zeigler

Focus: Exercise Specialist

About: Lyndee graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Exercise Science from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan in May 2016. While attending college, Lyndee was a 4 year national indoor qualifier and 2 time national outdoor qualifier in track and field. In her free time, Lyndee enjoys photography, cooking and baking, traveling, hiking and spending time with her husband, Jason, and two puppies, Leya and Ivy. Inspired by how exercise and nutrition transform lives, Lyndee makes sure clients are thriving in a way that has become customary to Kinetics. 

Population Health

Tara Martin 

Focus: Director of Population Health

About: Tara earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science Education and a Specialization in Health Promotion from The Ohio State University. Tara was born and raised in Holmes County, but  previously worked with a large corporation in Northeast Ohio as a Wellness Coordinator and Health Coach for the past 9 years. She is now home, in Millersburg, putting her focus of wellness towards the Holmes County community and Pomerene Hospital. Tara enjoys fitness, cooking at home with her family and spending time with her son, Bryce.

Front Desk and Fitness Attendants

Corbin Schneider

Focus: Fitness Attendant, Personal Trainer

About: Corbin is a graduate of Hocking College with a degree in Wildlife Management. He is attending Ashland University majoring in dietetics. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through NETA (National Exercise Trainer Association). Corbin obtained his Personal Trainer Certification to help individuals gain as much out of life as they can. Corbin says, "It is great to see an expecting parent want to improve upon themselves so they can be as active as possible and a role model to their coming son or daughter." Corbin loves helping people to accomplish the goals they have set for their lives.

Hank Curry

Focus: Fitness Attendant

About: Hank is currently doing online schooling. One of the biggest things Hank enjoys about working at Pomerene Kinetics is how friendly the people are, both members and staff, and the great work environment. In his spare time, Hank enjoys lifting weights and spending time with his girlfriend.

Donna Stoll

Focus: Front Desk Attendant

About: Donna has worked for Kinetics for 4 years now. She loves being part of a team that encourages health and fitness. Her goal is to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle so she can better care for her family. In Donna's spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family by going on hikes and working out together. 

Kinetics Kids Room Staff

Beverly McClure

Beverly enjoys the personality of each of the children who come to the Kinetics Kids Room. Her favorite thing to do with the kids are reading to them and using the toys to build learning skills. She loves working with children of all ages and is involved in the children's ministry at her church. Beverly has also been a foster parent, conducted enrichment classes for home-schooled children and taught martial arts classes to kids and teens. Beverly's husband is an RN and they have two young adult sons. 

Lawanda Miller

Lawanda has worked in the Kinetics Kids Room since April 2015. She enjoys having the opportunity to minister to each child through time, attention and playing. She likes to read, build castles and forts and use imagination to inspire learning on their level. Lawanda has more than 30 years experience of raising and homeschooling children. She and her husband have 4 grown children and one grandchild. 

Rachel Hillen

Rachel enjoys playing with children and activating their imaginations. She volunteers as the lead assistant in the Kid's Church Ministry at her church and also provides childcare for the Small Group and for special events. Rachel is actively involved in her church youth and Americal Heritage Girls program.

Group Fitness Instructors

Gretchen Acker

Focus: Group Exercise Instructor

About: Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Health, also a Master's Degree in Sports Science, and is a licensed OHSAA Track and Field Official. She has taught group fitness classes for over 30 years, ranging from aerobics, step, kickboxing, and currently is a certified Johnny G. Spinning Instructor. Gretchen is an avid outdoor cyclist and loves to share her passion for cycling with everyone. She enjoys helping all ages and abilities reach their fitness goals and develop a life-long love for fitness. Gretchen is a health teacher and track coach at West Holmes Middle School.

Alyssa Lower

Focus: Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer

About: Alyssa is both a group exercise instructor and Personal Trainer for Kinetics. Not only that, but she is your motivator and own personal supporter. Alyssa wants the best for you and is determined to get you to where you want to be. Alyssa wants you to feel good about yourself, to be healthier and happier, and to help you show yourself what you are capable of once you put your mind to something.

Rachel Goans

Focus: Group Exercise Instructor

About: Rachel earned her Associate's Degree in the Arts of Business and is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor. She became a fitness instructor because she found her passion for fitness and helping people push beyond what they think they can accomplish. Rachel is married with two children and loves spending her time outdoors. Rachel is also a Certified Health Coach for Pomerene Corporate Wellness Services. 

Rose Habrun

Focus: Group Exercise Instructor

About: Rose has taught swimming and water safety classes for 42 years and has been teaching water aerobics for 29 years. Guess what?...She LOVES the water!




Kate Smith

Focus: Group Exercise Instructor

About: Kate is certified to teach PiYo and enjoys various fitness activities like running, yoga, barre classes and organized sports. She has been actively involved with fitness since 2010 after the birth of her daughter. When Kate is not here, she teaches math at West Holmes High School.

Laurin Vaccariello

Focus: Group Exercise Instructor

About: Laurin discovered her passion for running and group fitness classes in college. She fell into group teaching as a substitute fitness instructor at Pomerene Kinetics until she was given her own class. She recently earned her Group Fitness Instructor certification. Laurin tries to make her classes fun yet challenging at the same time. Laurin is a nurse by education, working the last 15 years at Pomerene Hospital in the Obstetrics Department. She is married with children and in her spare time she loves to read, cook and travel.

Dana Yoder

Focus: Group Exercise Instructor

About: Dana is married and has 3 amazing children. She loves the outdoors, cooking and spending time with all types of people. Several severe illnesses in her family opened her eyes to becoming fit, strong and healthy. In turn, she discovered how much she enjoys inspiring others to be their best! Dana loves seeing people become confident and surprised at how much they can accomplish. Friendships are formed and she loves watching her class cheer one another on.

Cheryl Seabright

Focus:Tai Chi Instructor

About: Cheryl earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Health from Ohio University. She is a certified ISSA Personal Trainer and a Specialist in Fitness Nutrition. She is certified to teach Lifesteps 12 week management program. She is also Tai Chi for Health certified to teach Tai Chi for Osteoperosis, Tai Chi for Kidz and Tai Chi Moving for Better Balance. Cheryl has a passion for helping people to be able to improve their overall health while living safely and independently in their homes longer by being physically active and eating right.

Alec Mast

Focus: Personal Trainer

About: Alec is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and is offering personal training sessions at Kinetics. He is a Holmes County native from Millersburg and graduated from Hiland High School in 2013. After High School, Alec attended Bluffton University and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. He found that combining his passion for fitness and desire to help people lead him to a great profession in personal training. In Alec’s free time he enjoys lifting, playing soccer, and spending time with his friends and family.

Zane Shuss

Focus: Silver Sneaker Instructor, Pomerene Therapy

About: Zane graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with degrees in Athletic Training and Exercise Science. He works at Pomerene Therapy, teaches Silver Sneakers and provides athletic services for East Holmes High School. Zane's passion is helping others restore and maintain daily functions. He enjoys staying active by participating in sports and working out.
