Pomerene Updates Visitation Guidelines

Effective March 15th at 7 am, Pomerene's visitation guidelines will be as follows: 

  • Visitation hours will be held daily between 11:00am-8:00pm. All individuals entering any hospital entrance must be screened using one of the health screening kiosks, record their visit on the visitation log, sanitize or wash their hands, as well as be given a mask to wear during the entire visit.

  • Inpatient Services located on the Medical/Surgical/Special Care Unit (Non-Covid Patients): Up to four visitors per stay will be permitted for patients admitted to the hospital. Visitors will have no time restrictions between the daily hours of 11am to 8pm. Visitors will be required to wear a wristband (Orange) that will be provided upon admission and must be worn for the duration of the stay. Visitors should remain in the patient’s room, unless using public restrooms or visiting the cafeteria. Visitors are encouraged to minimize exiting and re-entry to the hospital.

  • Inpatient Services located on the Medical/Surgical/Special Care Unit (Covid Positive Patients): Visitors should call the hospital prior to arriving for visitation. Visitors will be required to wear a wristband (Orange) that will be provided upon arrival and must be worn for the duration of the stay. Visitors must follow all Hospital COVID safety measures and visitors will be given instructions to assist with modified visitation procedures.

  • OB and Maternity Unit: OB patients may have two visitors at all times during a patient’s stay. OB patient visitors must remain in the patient room outside of normal visitation hours.

  • No visitors under the age of 14
     
  • All other visitation guidelines remain the same according to previous guidance:
