The 2016 Pomerene Auxiliary Christmas Tree Festival will take place November 7th-12th at David Warther Carvings in Sugarcreek.
The festival will be open to the public from 10 am – 7 pm Monday-Friday, and 10 am – 4 pm on Saturday.
Admission to the museum and festival during festival hours will be by donation.
David Warther Carvings is a museum that features over 80 intricately carved miniatures that depict sailing ships from ancient Egypt, circa 3000 B.C. to modern times. The collection, now numbering over 80 ship carvings, is a highly educational exhibit of maritime history. David Warther’s collection is truly one you must see!
The festival will feature over 50 beautifully decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, and centerpieces all available for purchase. Several raffle items will also be available. All proceeds go to the Pomerene Hospital Auxiliary. Spectators can enjoy refreshments and cookies as they walk through the event.
