As we carefully monitor the ongoing developments, public health authority communications and safety information related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Pomerene is implementing the following Hospital visitor restriction changes effective immediately and until further notice:
At 6 p.m. daily, access to Pomerene Hospital will be limited to the emergency department entrance.
In the emergency department, visitors are prohibited from entering patient care areas, and patients can have one caregiver if they require assistance at the direction of the clinical staff.Two visitors or caregivers will be permitted for maternity patients.
Again, we are taking these steps as a precaution for your safety and the safety of our patients and community.We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this rapidly evolving and challenging time.
