Volunteer Program
Pomerene Hospital currently has 130 volunteers assisting in a variety of capacities, including working in the Gift Shop, helping out on the patient floors and assisting with clerical duties. In 2008, our volunteers totaled more than 8,800 hours.
The fundraising branch of Volunteer Services is the Auxiliary. In 2008, the Auxiliary purchased new automated front doors for the hospital, several wheel chairs and a new cleaning cart for Environmental Services.
New adult and teen volunteers are always welcomed. If you would like to become a volunteer, please contact our Volunteer Services Coordinator at (330) 674-1584, ext. 1100.
