Pomerene Hospital Recognizes Employees
Pomerene Hospital held its annual Employee Recognition Banquet on May 14th, 2009 at the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek. A total of 96 employees were honored with service milestones, ranging from one to 30 years. The night featured a Hollywood Stars theme, entertainment by a Frank Sinatra tribute artist, dinner and an awards ceremony. In addition to recognizing employees for their years of service, Pomerene also recognized those employees with perfect attendance and those considered Rising Stars of the hospital. The Rising Star Award was introduced this year for the purpose of recognizing employees with less than 5 years of service who have shown characteristics which include enthusiasm in promoting the hospital, willingness to exceed expectations and the potential for advancement with the hospital.
