Online courses for BLS and ACLS Now Available Through Pomerene Hospital
(Millersburg, OH) - Beginning October 2012, online courses will be Pomerene employees' and the community's primary method of certification for BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
Traditional classroom-based training will remain available on a quarterly basis for BLS. Pomerene will offer ACLS in the online format only, after the October 11th and 12th traditional classroom-based training.
Online courses are an efficient, high quality alternative to classroom-based training that allows Pomerene to meet the community's diverse learning needs and address the demands of everyone's busy schedules.
Community members enrolling in the online course will enjoy:
- Learning and practicing at your own pace
- Flexibility to complete online training at home or work
- Extra help through challenge questions, skills practice, and skills testing
- Ability to review refresher information for up to 12 months (BLS) or 24 months (ACLS)
