Pomerene Hospital Announces New Community Outreach Screening Schedule
Pomerene Hospital will be making several changes to their Community Outreach Health and Wellness Screenings beginning in January 2012. Included in the changes will be dates, times, and tests that will be offered.
Health and Wellness Screenings will be held at the following locations:
- Mt. Hope Methodist Church: 1st Wednesday of every month (7am-10am)
- German Village Center: 2nd Monday every other month starting January 9, 2012 (7am-10am)
- Keim Lumber: 3rd Tuesday every other month starting February 21, 2012 (7am-10am)
Health and Wellness Screenings will be offered in two tiers; tier 1 will require no doctor's order and tier two will require a doctor's order. Health and Wellness Screenings that will be offered include:
Tier 1:
- Lipid Panel (Cholesterol): $20.00
- PSA (Prostate Cancer): $20.00
- Hemoglobin A1C: $24.00
- Thyroid Panel: $25.00
- Liver Panel: $25.00
Tier 2: Doctor's Order Required
- CBC: $20.00
- CMP: $40.00
