Pomerene Hospital Opens New Center for Sleep Disorders at
Millersburg Medical Building

Millersburg, OH - On May 25^th, 2010, Pomerene Hospital opened its new center for sleep disorders at the Millersburg Medical Building.

"Pomerene Hospital was in need of a more up-to-date sleep lab center," stated Teresa Balder, Director of Diagnostic and Imaging Services for Pomerene Hospital. "The new location is more accessible and provides newer amenities than our previous sleep lab center."

The new location offers two bedrooms with individual bathrooms and showers that are handicap accessible.  Each room has queen size beds with select number mattresses for individual patient comfort.  Rooms also provide flat screen televisions, as well as recliners for those patients that choose to sleep in a chair while being tested.

Local vendors that supplied materials and construction work for the sleep lab include Building Improvements, LLC, Pepper's Plumbing, Millersburg Electric, Walnut Creek Furniture, and Weaver Furniture.

For the past three years, Pomerene's sleep lab center was located in the lower level of Pomerene's billing office. In January 2010, construction began on the new sleep lab center, and was completed in mid-May 2010.

Pomerene is now accepting sleep lab patients at its new location in the Millersburg Medical Building, 1261 Wooster Road, Millersburg, Ohio.
