Mammography
Women who undergo routine mammograms at Pomerene Hospital now have the latest diagnostic technology available to them, digital mammography. State-of-the-art digital mammography is different from conventional mammography in how the image of the breast is aquired, and more importantly, viewed. This new technology provides greater patient comfort, improved viewing options, and quicker exams.
As a Pink Ribbon Facility, we take pride in providing every woman with a softer, warmer mammogram by using MammoPad, a soft foam pad that serves as a cushion between you and the most sophisticated digital mammography equiptment available.
