Intensive Care Nursing (Special Care Unit)
The Special Care Unit (SCU) at Pomerene Hospital is located on the 3rd Floor and consists of 4 new “state of the art” private rooms. Our highly skilled nursing staff provides specialized and advanced technical care to critically ill patients in collaboration with our physicians and other highly trained health care team members. All Registered Nurses working in SCU are trained and certified in advanced cardiac life support techniques.
