Ambulatory Care
Surgery can often be a frightening experience for patients, family members and friends. Our Ambulatory Care nurses want to make this time as pleasant and comfortable for you as possible.
During a pre-admission testing visit, our nurses will provide you with education about your procedure, medications, and what you can expect when you arrive on the day of your procedure.
Family and friends may wait in our waiting room while the procedure is taking place. After the surgeon is done he will come to the waiting room to talk to you in the private consult area.
Post Anesthesia Care Unit –PACU
This is where the patient will go right after the procedure is complete for waking up and recovery time. The length of stay in PACU is determined by several factors including the procedure preformed and the patient’s response.
